Our\u00a0Quarter Beef Share<\/b> includes the same cuts as an Eighth Share, plus a few extras! You also have the option to make some customizations to your cutting and packaging instructions! Our processor contacts you directly and walks you through the process of customizing your instructions. Quarter Beef Shares are a great value, giving you all the beef standards like steaks, roasts and great burger, while also giving you some flexibility on your options. With Quarter Shares, you can also add offals (heart, tongue, liver, and oxtail) to your share. Offals are not included in the hanging weight, but can be included with your share at no additional charge! Soup\/broth bones and kidney fat can be included as well. Hanging weights typically range from 150-220lbs for quarters, but can be a bit bigger or smaller, depending on the animal. The finished package weight will depend on your cutting instructions. For example, requesting all the roasts to be ground for burger or asking for all cuts to be boneless, will result in a smaller finished weight due to more trim and bone loss. If using our processors standard cutting instructions, you can expect to receive approximately 65-68% of the hanging weight as packaged weight.<\/span><\/p>\n
